All equipment is provided by the studio. A list of the basic sewing notions used in the studio will be provided, if you'd like to make up a kit to use at home.

Classes that do not reach the minimum of 3 students registered may be cancelled. Registered students may choose another class time or later session, or may choose to attend at the semi-private rate.

Registration Info

Reserve your place in class by using the Register button to contact us. Registration forms will be sent by return email, and can be printed out and mailed with a check covering tuition payment, registration fee and kit fee. Credit cards can only be accepted in person. Contact us to make an appointment to visit the sewing school and studio.

Classes that do not reach the minimum enrollment by 24 hours before the start time may be cancelled. Those students who have registered will be allowed to switch to another class where there is room, delay to a later session, or continue in the class at the semi-private fee.

Registration Fee: The non-refundable registration fee of $20 helps defray the cost of equipment maintenance in the classroom studio, supplies shared by all students, and reserves your place in class.

Students learn at their own pace, and can start at any time.

Supplies and materials:

All tools, notions and equipment are provided by the studio. If you bring your own, please label them to avoid confusion. Beginning students in the children's class will work from kits provided by the Sewing School at a nominal fee. No additional fabric needs to be purchased. There are 3 kits in the Level 100 program, each including four to five projects using the skills being taught in that segment. As a student is close to completing a kit and nearly ready to advance to the next session, the instructor will give notice for the next kit to be purchased.

Returning students or those with previous experience will choose a project from our suggested list, using recommended patterns and fabrics which must be purchased at a local fabric store before class begins.

Beginner adult classes will have materials provided for the first class, with patterns and materials suggested at that time for the following classes.
